We are way ahead of time. For us, most of the things because of Covid19 that are now considered a recommendation or even a regulation for hotels are not the “New Normal”, but the “Old Normal“. Kawayan Holiday Resort has been of great importance since its inception. One-to-one, we implemented our experience in Europe in terms of hygiene at Kawayan Holiday Resort. So sit down and feel comfortable with us.

Arrival
Even for us new is the fever measuring on your arrival. We do not accept more than two guests per villa since its inception. The only exception are the Prestige Villas. There (family members only) can book up to two extra beds.

Villas
The villas are also disinfected daily. A gutter cleaning is carried out when changing guests. The villas are cleaned twice a day. On the one hand this is the normal morning service, on the other hand the turn down service in the evening.

Restaurant
Distance rules are always in place at the resort. In the spacious restaurant, we have been offering up to three metres of space between the large tables for years – with normally a maximum of two guests per table.

Laundry
Our laundry handles bed linen, bath towels, etc. with the utmost care. Everything is washed with a safe 95 degrees with the washing machine. The detergents and softeners used in this process correspond to a high standard of disinfection.

Public Toilets
In the public toilets, the taps, containers for disinfection alcohol and soap are equipped with IR sensors. To wash and disinfect your hands, all you have to do is hold your hands in front of the sensor. So nothing you need to touch.

We can also provide protective masks for you. However, we recommend that you bring your own hygiene products that are suitable for you.

Bookings
By the way, if you have booked a stay with us, then your well-deserved holidays are by no means lost. For direct bookings from March 15ht to July 15th July 2020, we allow a free rebooking until the end of December 2021. As soon as the entry regulations in your country or here are lifted again, we will inform you immediately.
At Kawayan Holiday Resort there are no problems or restrictions, everything is running normally. But we’re not just sitting around. Our entire team uses the time to bring the resort up to date.
Conversions and renovations are now on our daily schedule – at least until the island of Siquijor is reachable for you again.
